The 40th Anniversary Edition of Sanicole Airshow will be held Friday 8 and Sunday 10 September 2017.

Finnish F-18 will perform at Sanicole Airshow 2017

The International Sanicole Airshow (ISA) is the only civil airshow in Belgium which is organized annually. It all started with a very small "festival of stuntmen" in the mid-70s. Back then several thousand spectators enjoyed the show. During the 80s the show grew into a true international airshow with participants from the Netherlands, England, France, America, Jordan ... and the ISA was one of the many annual air festivals in our country.

Also in the 90s, the airshow continued to grow and the ISA acquired fame abroad. Due to the higher demands posed upon the organisation of an airshow, the ISA remained the sole annual airshow in Belgium by the end of the 90s.

In 2017, Sanicole Airshow celebrates its 40th Anniversary and many aircraft from Europe's most important military flight squadrons have already confirmed their presence.

As usual, the event will include two days: the Sunset Airshow on Friday (September 8) and the traditional Airshow on Sunday (September 10).

Friday 8 September 2017:
The airshow terrain will be opened from 05.15 pm until 08.45 pm
The flying activities will take place from 6 pm to 8.15 pm

Sunday 10 September 2017:
The airshow terrain will be opened from 08 am until 7 pm
The flying activities will take place from 10 am to 5.30 pm

KLEINE-BROGEL AIR BASE SPOTTESRDAY

All military aircraft involved in Sanicole Airshow will be based at Kleine-Broegel Air Base and for the occasion the airport will open the gates to the general public on saturday September 9.

During the day all fighter jets will perform familiarization flights for the airshow, a unique opportunity to take pics of them during takeoffs and landings. The belgian F-16, A-109 and Red Devils demo teams will perfom a flying display also.
