Next 10 - 11 June 2017, in occasion of Sola Airshow, will be celebrated the 80th Anniversary of Stavanger Airport. During the years, the norwegian airport has always hosted the major national air show.
The 2017 edition is made even more special by the presence in the flying display of the F-104 Starfighter, it was phased out from the Royal Norwegian Air Force in the early 1980s and for over 30 years it is not seen in an norwegian airshow.
Many aviation enthusiasts consider the F-104 an important piece of aviation history and surely its presence will bring a lot of public across Europe.
